There plenty of restaurants in Bourg d’Oisans, all within the town centre and therefore
within easy walking distance of each other. Some of our favourites include:
- La Muzelle - Serves pizza and pasta as well as more traditional French food. Good
quality with big ‘cyclist’ portions!
- Cote Terrasse - actually a restaurant on a campsite but does some of the best food
in Bourg d’Oisans! Our joint favorite locally with La Muzelle
- La Romanche - this restaurant is always busy and serves a range of classic dishes
as well as local specialities such as Tartiflette, a dish made of potatoes, cream,
roblechon cheese, bacon and garlic.
- La Falaise - great pizzas but also a chance to try some Hungarian cusine!
- Hotel des Alpes - on the main pedestrian street in Bourg, open to non-residents
- Auberge La Cure - not actually in Bourg D’Oisans, but so good it is worth a mention.
Situated in the village of Oz, past Allemont (on the way to the Col de la Croix
de Fer and Col du Glandon). This restaurant is especially worth a visit at lunch
as the 3 course set menu is a bargain (but let us know as you will have to book in
advance). Great for sitting outside and enjoying the view of the mountains with
great food!
This is just a selection of our favourites - there are a few more restaurants, including
hotels that serve food. There are also two take away pizza places, as well as cafes
that also serve lunch time food.
