Tour route confirmed

25 Oct 2012:  After many rumours, the Tour route has been confirmed.  Not only are they climbing Alpe D’Huez, but they are tackling it twice in the same stage!

14 Jul 2012:  As the Tour was passing fairly close to Bourg D’Oisans during stage 11 - the ‘Queen’ alpine stage, I just had to get out there and see the riders going up the climbs that I regularly ride.  I set off up the Col du Glandon on my bike...

Giro summit finish on the Col Du Galibier

20 Sep 2012:  So after the rumours, it’s now official - the 15th stage of the 2013 Giro D’Italia will be finishing on top of the Col du Galibier.  They’ll tackle the climb from the other side compared to the Tour de France 2 years ago....

The Dauphine Comes to Town

08 June 2013: The Dauphine is a classic Tour de France warm up - not just because it’s ideal timing for a last block of training/racing for the pro riders before the tour, but also because they often replicate one of the tour stages…
