Daily Guided Rides can either be a fixed itinerary (however we always keep some flexibility to suit weather conditions) or custom made if you have any specific routes already in mind.  Both options will take your fitness levels into account therefore it is important that your group does not contain a large variation in abilities (please contact us to discuss this further if you have any concerns).  Our standard ‘baseline’ itinerary is as follows:

Day 1:  La Berarde – an introduction to alpine climbs, spectacular views of the highest mountain in this part of the Alps (Barre des Ecrins 4102m) approx 75km return 1200m climbing

Day 2: Alpe d’Huez + Les Balcons (one of the most impresive roads here) with the option of extending to Les Deux Alpes, or Col du Sarenne) approx. 60 – 80 km loop with 1600 – 2500m climbing

Day 3: Col du Lautaret & Col du Galibier – 100km return 2250m climbing

Day 4: Day off or easy Allemont lake loop 40 – 45km , 350m climbing

Day 5: Col du Glandon + Croix de Fer – 85km return 1900m climbing

Day 6 : Villard Notre Dame – Villard Reymond loop (great views of Alpe d’Huez) with the option of also climbing to Col d’Ornon & Oulles) approx. 40 – 60km, 1000 – 2000m  OR

Col de Sarenne (if not done on day 2) via Les Balcons

There is also the option to provide vehicle support instead of guided riding, although please note that in-ride coaching advice will not be available in this case, and we are limited on the number of bikes we can transport.

We can also arrange pre-ride transfers* via a local transfer company, to enable all levels of ability to access the cols & climbs that are further afield.

With our local contacts we can arrange for after ride sports massages in house* by a ex-pro tour soigneur.

Prices per person per week for 2018 range from 587€ for a triple share B&B option to 865€ for a twin share with ½ board. However please contact us to check availability and receive a quote based on your group size.

* - please note that these services provided by external third parties will be at additional cost

This will be a holiday where you can focus on riding & improving your fitness in an incredible environment, as well as taking the opportunity to gain riding tips and coaching whilst experiencing some of the most spectacular roads in Europe.
